Many Luxury estates in the area will increase the value
of real estate markets in and around Cabrera.
Cabrera’s infrastructure contains, among other
things, a variety of supermarkets, restaurants, schools,
hotels and 2 private hospitals.
The marina offices will undergo expansion and become
a “plaza” with more offices, businesses,
and a VIP bar. The plaza is due for completion by the
end of 07. Marina and boat slips construction begins
early 2008.
For golfing enthusiasts: There is the world-famous
Playa Grande golf course (10 min away).
This 18-hole course is considered worldwide as the most
beautiful sea-side course with its breathtaking vistas.
Designed by Robert Trent Jones and inaugurated in 1997,
this course (on 1,500,000m2 plot) with 10 holes on the
ocean bluff, directly over the sea, is a must for golfing
enthusiasts.
The new Airport of Samana (El Catey) is only 30 min
away and already serviced by Ltu and other European
and American airlines.
Int. Airport of Puerto Plata is farther, approx. 70
min. away, but serviced by a larger selection of airlines.
The capital, Santo Domingo is an approx. 3 hr. drive.
